Council to take action on Resolution No. 31-18 approving the 2018 summer Council meeting schedule by cancelling the Regular City Council meetings scheduled for July 17, 2018, August 21, 2018, and September 4, 2018 and holding one Regular City Council meeting in July, August, and September 2018. |

| | | | | | | | PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Buckeye City Code, Chapter 2-4-1, authorizes the cancellation of regular meetings when appropriate, by majority vote of the City Council. The cancellation will be posted legally, with ample time for the public and staff to plan for the cancellation. If for any reason, action is required on an item prior to the next regularly scheduled Council meeting, a Special Council meeting will be scheduled accordingly.

Summertime Council meetings have few action items. Vacations by staff and Council can be scheduled so that minimal absences take place for scheduled Council meetings.

The meeting cancellation will be posted online, at City Hall, and staff will be notified upon approval.
