ACTION / MOTION: (This language identifies the formal motion to be made by the Council)

Council to take action on Resolution No. 48-18 amending the City of Buckeye Business License Fee Schedule, Liquor License Fee Type, by repealing the Special Event (Temporary License) Series 15 fee, related to Liquor Licenses; repealing conflicting resolutions; and providing severability.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 
Staff wishes to provide special event licenses to non-profits at no charge to the applicant. Due to the ability for the City to streamline its processes, the approval and preparation takes minimal time. If approved, the final approval will be offered as a service. The same safety checks would be completed before the application is finalized.

BENEFITS:
By offering special event liquor license consideration as a service, non-profit organizations would be able to apply the profits to their cause. All of the same safety checks would be preformed, but the approval would not be considered by Council.

There is no future action associated with this request.

FINANCIAL IMPACT STATEMENT: Must be completed before submission
The $100 administrative fee would not be collected to process the application.
